What is a Certified Credit Counselor?

Certified Credit CounselorsA Certified Credit Counselor is an individual who successfully completes the training, testing, and certification standards established by a nationally recognized association. CFFCR Counselors have all earned a certification from The National Association of Certified Credit Counselors (NACCC). Certified Counselors are required to renew their certification every two years.

Certification gives you the confidence that you are working with a person who is not only qualified but has earned the right to be called a certified credit counselor through a nationally recognized, independent, third party organization.

Our certified credit counselors will work with you one-on-one and prepare all the documents you need to dispute items on your credit report.

If we are unable to improve your credit report by removing any inaccurate, unverifiable, obsolete, or incomplete items , we will offer you a full refund. At CFFCR, our goal is to improve our client’s credit profile by removing inaccurate, unverifiable, obsolete, or incomplete items.

Our client understands the results obtained by CFFCR depend on various factors such as: ability to repay debts and loans, cooperation of client’s creditors and credit bureaus’ ability to verify information provided to them by CFFCR on behalf of the client.

Benefits of Credit Counseling

Personal finances play an important part in every aspect of our daily life. Financial well-being is just as important as physical well-being. Our Certified Credit Counselors focus on educating clients in understanding the many ways of dealing with excessive consumer debt. We help you analyze and understand your current credit situation and assist you in understanding the various options available to you in order to reach your desired objective.

At CFFCR, we offer credit counseling services that address a broad financial literacy landscape. We help people with planning, understanding credit, credit scores, and how credit works to help improve your credit report. For example, did you know that if you have a credit card it is better to keep the card at around 30% of your credit line and not max out your card?
